W. Todd Bowling, President and CEO
Todd Bowling is President & CEO of Solutions II and is responsible for leading the strategic direction of the company. He oversees the day-to-day operations in each of the five geographic locations where Solutions II operates in the United States and is ultimately responsible for the growth and success of the business. Solutions II is focused on delivering world class solutions to its customers in the areas of Virtualization, Storage Optimization, Business Continuance and the related security issues surrounding these disciplines.
Prior to joining Solutions II, Todd was the Northwest District Manager at EMC Corporation focusing on high-end storage solutions in one of the largest domestic and international sales regions in the company covering the Pacific Northwest, the Rocky Mountain States and Western Canada.
Prior to EMC, Todd sold midrange IT systems for XL/Datacomp, an IBM value added re-seller with an office in Denver, CO and headquartered in Hindsdale, IL.
Throughout his 23 year career in the technology industry, Todd has demonstrated an ability to drive growth and excellence in a variety of positions in sales and management.
Todd received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Colorado State University.
David Stone, Executive Vice President
Over the past 25 years, David's expertise in the information industry has focused on the design, sales and marketing of complex solutions which drive value for his clients. In addition to consistently gaining nationwide recognition for his sales, technical and management skills, David's experience includes the development of repeatable processes to increase the quality of Solutions II businesses ability to execute successful projects.
Previous to founding Solutions II, David held sales, sales management and marketing positions with: EMC, Memorex Telex, NBI, Philips Electronics and Xerox Corporation. During his tenure at Solutions II, David has performed numerous roles which have resulted in helping to build the world class organization which exists today.
As Executive Vice President, it is David's role to increase the value of the company's product offerings through the development of executable processes and procedures which allow Solutions II to expand its geographic and product coverage models. He is active in strengthening relationships with major accounts and ensuring that the Solutions II go-to-market strategy continues to support Solutions II's customer's requirements to reduce costs and risks associated with gaining access to the Cloud. Currently, he is the responsible for the Enterprise and Commercial Sales Groups as well as the Practice Development and Marketing Organization.
Mic Welling, Director of Professional Services
Mic Welling is the Director of Solutions Architecture responsible for the Enterprise Architect team across the Solutions II geographies. The Solutions II Enterprise Architect team collaborates with our customers and partners to deliver world class solutions to meet our customers business and technical project requirements. In his role as Director of Solutions Architecture, Mic’s goal is to insure the Enterprise Architect team consults with our clients in order to bring business value, reduce project costs, mitigate risks and deliver successful projects on time.
Mic has over 20 years in the IT industry. Mic has a highly successful track record in designing and implementing highly technical, complex infrastructure systems. Prior to joining Solutions II, Mic was the IT Manager for a major Healthcare Insurance Provider managing datacenters across three states with hundreds of servers. Mic was responsible for all Open Systems technologies, including: Unix servers, Oracle and Sybase Databases, Microsoft servers, Novell administration, Enterprise Backup/Recovery, Enterprise Networking and Project Management.
