Sales Development Representative

Compensation

Base Salary: $65,000 - $75,000

Signing Bonus: $1500

  • $500 on Day One
  • $500 on Day 91
  • $500 at One Year

Annual On-Target-Earnings: $90,000 - $120,000

What You'll Do

This position is an integral piece of Solutions II's future growth! We pride ourselves on attracting and maintaining the best talent in the market. We're looking for people like you that can help us bridge Marketing and Sales by developing, qualifying, and nurturing leads for our sales team and yourself. We aim to hire a results-driven Sales Development Representative to lead a high-performing sales development team.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate Inbound Leads: Inbound leads are acquired through phone calls, websites, registering or attending events/webinars, and Partner Campaigns

  • Prospect Outbound Leads: Outbound leads are companies that SDRs reach out to first to see if there's interest in learning more about our products or services

  • Set up appointments, demos, and other related sales & marketing lead progression needs with qualified leads for sales to transition into clients

  • Collaborate and assist in building with the Solutions II Leadership team a fresh and innovative Sales Development Model with team metrics and KPIs that are achievable to accelerate growth and profitability

Skills and Qualfications

  • Charisma, Tact, Creativity: The ability to build rapport with prospects, understand their problems, create interest, and book appointments
  • Build relationships with potential clients and colleagues by staying educated on current and future industry solutions with the goal of being a strategic partner
  • Determination and Diligence: Ability to leverage websites and LinkedIn profiles to determine potential interests and cultivate content that is relevant to the prospects' needs
  • Clear, Concise, and Compelling: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interest in learning, continued education, and advancement
  • Collaborating across company leadership to create, communicate and execute your vision on process improvements
  • Ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team

  • Proven success with core sales tools: Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Teams, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, Twitter, Microsoft Office Products

Experience Required:
4 Year Degree and 2 years related experience OR 3– 5 years related industry experience

Growth Plan

ONE MONTH:

  • Attend Solutions II's New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our Solutions II story and understand what makes Solutions II unique; setting you up for success to make an impact in the market quickly
  • Internal Processes, Systems/Tools
  • Begin 1:1's with your manager, understand your 30-60-90 plan, and meet & shadow leads from each sales group of the Solutions II team. Gain valuable knowledge of each team's strengths to support them better
  • Begin contacting researched and targeted prospects to understand how to utilize your knowledge, engage new prospects, and hone your effectiveness in acquiring new leads and opportunities
  • Train and become knowledgeable in a Security and Managed Service Solution selected by your manager

THREE MONTHS:

  • Develop a strong understanding of Solutions II and be comfortable communicating our value and solutions to prospects from self-sourced efforts
  • Meet regularly with assigned Account Executives, Manager, and peers to become an expert on the solutions and tracking of prospecting efforts
  • Continue education on Solutions II's competitive advantage and strengthen your business acumen
  • Train and learn the unique Security and Managed Services solutions to enhance your prospecting options
  • Become an expert on internal tools and processes
  • Own CRM from all leads to transfer of qualified opportunities

SIX MONTHS:

  • Continued training and education on Solutions II security and managed services solutions
  • Liaison between sales and marketing to ensure we are all on the same page and working seamlessly with existing and new clients
  • Assist in the development of best practices for lead generation

TWELVE MONTHS:

  • Be seen as a trusted business advisor and Solutions II expert, leading and driving all lead generation efforts
  • Work with sales and marketing to help create new campaigns to drive pipeline
  • Set an example for new SDRs, and assist in training, onboarding, and motivating new SDRs

FUTURE GROWTH:

  • Success in this role will create new opportunities that include leading an expanded sales development team and moving into a leadership or management position
